Social Engineering

It is the computational social science that we use for the social engineering. The study of all forms of human and social dynamics and organization at all levels of analysis, including cognition, decision making, behavior, groups, organizations, societies, and the world system falls under the umbrella of social sciences or social science disciplines. Computational social science follows the social queries with an emphasis on data analysis and through advanced computation. With its remarkable progress in the last decade, computational social science has been able to analyze many of things that were only dreams in the near past and to obtain information that opened doors for many areas. Computational social science uses computational methods for discovery, collection, analysis, and reporting of big data in automative data extraction systems, social geographic information systems, complexity modeling, social network analysis, and social simulation models. For instance, computational social science can be used for data mining, audio-visual analysis, machine learning, and the like.  In this field our services may fall under the following categories.

International Relations

The information extracted and analyzed by computational social science have important applications in international relations. Alliance systems and international unions either constructive or destructive, international and inter-nations organizations with various goals that might have been formed for specific interests, inter-nation fanatic belief groups, and many other instances are among the international issues having many challenges. Policy towards and for any of these issues is very complex at the moment because the actors in each area are multiple and complex. In our time, we cannot reach a multidimensial and appropriate policy for these international and inter-nation actors without analysis and information derived by computational social science. The complexity and variety of actors in just one international issue is so much that the policy making in that issue sometimes requires the use of dynamic nonequilibrim analysis and the detection of existing patters against equilibrim systems, all of which are only feasible through somputational social science.  We have long valuable experience in this area.

If we consider communications in its overall meaning as the transmission of an intended concept and meaning from one group to another by signals and rules that are mutually understandable, regardless of information theory and only based on communications studies, subjects such as motivation, message, language, culture, transmission, group and so on will be of importance. Deep and proper knowledge about all these aspects that have essential role in business, trade, policy, and family, is only possible through cognitive approach and with the assistance of computational social science. It is after cognitive and computational analyses that we find the importance of belief revision through communication. The belief revision is always happening for us with the emergence of new information, but there are times when the belief revision becomes so significant that can affect the public health either positively or negatively. The use of modern cognitive methods such as "nudge" becomes more and more significat in the policy making for the soceity. We conduct research in this area by following these modern methods in order to provide solutions to various organizations and businesses.

Social Structures

The social networks and structures such as unions, organizations, trading systems, and cognitive belief systems are just examples of the vast domain of social structures whose quantitative and qualitative analysis by computational approach can provide an insight to recognize the function of those social organizations or entities in accordance with their existing structural and relational patterns as well as their other features. The information and knowledge obtained by computational approach are not derivable by other approaches at all. This information illustrates for us how the structure of a social entity, for instance constructive, differs from a destructive entity and where these differences lay. Thus, having this valuable information, we can make policy for social issues such as sanity, public health, transportation, social security and so on so forth.  We offer our services in this field based on our very valuable experience of the field.

Culture and Media

Now social media have a significant role in everybody's life all over the world. The position of these media as well as their vast capabilities have raised many issues. Some believe that these media have a destructive role in the society while others believe that they can be used as a poweful tool to guide the society towards progress and flourishment. However, regardless of different views, there is a consensus that social media are particularly capable of affecting the people's beliefs and social behaviour and it is important to know how to use this capability. It goes without saying that, the use of these media for shaping or changing people's social behaviour and belief towards public interest or towards the interest of a specific group depends on various strategies and the selection of those strategies. After the selection of appropriate strategy, the implementation of that strategy through a variety of tools existing in social media is also of great importance. But perhaps, what is more important for the enhancement of the management of media includes evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of those strategies by special analysis methods through cognitives appraoches that can provide a proper understanding of the effectiveness of those strategies, also detect the ineffective strategies for improvement.  We can claim that our skill and experience in this field is unique.
